Vacancy : Sr. Catering Officer
urgently required for Oil & Gas Industry Sector in Abu Dhabi.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Hotel/Catering Management or Industrial Catering.
• Min. 8 years relevant experience in catering services within a large organization.
• Skill in observing situations and decision making.
• Strong communication skills.

Duties:
• To supervise and coordinate all aspects of the contracts for the Residential Complex and Guesthouse catering services and ensure provision of efficient and economic services in accordance to Service Level Agreements and Company policies and procedures.
• To organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within the section is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
• To actively participate in the implementation of Company policies and regulations on health, safety and environment and good housekeeping to ensure optimum safety standards in the division.
• To ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
• To carry out selection of contractor personnel to fulfill Company Catering requirements and ensure effective management of contractor services and adherence to agreements.
• To arrange and supervise the execution of special VIP banquets and all other special menus and functions to ensure customer satisfactions.
• To check daily food supplies in the store/refrigerator before cooking, to ensure their suitability for consumption and coordinate with suppliers in the event of any non conformances.
• To check daily fresh and frozen food supplies supplied by contractor ensuring that quality and validity/expiry dates meet requirements and food is stored in the appropriate manner.
• To monitor the kitchen and restaurant staff for cleanliness, and ensure that their uniforms and presentation meet Company Quality Standards.
• To periodically monitor the physical fitness of contractor employees in the kitchen and restaurant and ensure that medical examinations are carried out every 6 months in accordance to Company procedures.
• To carry out daily checks on the kitchen, restaurant and all other food outlets of the division to ensure that all furniture, equipment and utensils are well maintained and hygienically kept while proactively rectifying any situations that need immediate attention.
