Training Manager, Kurdistan
On behalf of this five star hotel in Iraq we are looking for a Training Manager that will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and will have the support of 20 departmental trainers and a part-time Development co-ordinator.
On behalf of this five star hotel in Iraq we are looking for a Training Manager that will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and will have the support of 20 departmental trainers and a part-time Development co-ordinator.
The mission is to create a culture of development and career progression within the property. The focus will be to support/ increase Guest and Associate satisfaction through a series of programmes and business intervention tools.
The HR department consists of a team of 33 with a mix of 12 cultures and nationalities.
The key tasks of the role will be –
- Delivery of programs to HOD level
- Design of programs and business critical intervention tools
- Manage the twice yearly PDR process
- Manage the departmental trainers process
- Manage the cross training process
- Support monthly Let’s Celebrate program
- Manage the LNA analysis
- Produce monthly statistics relating to L&D Dashboard
- Advise /monitor on L&D expenditure to DHR
The successful candidate will have 2 -3 years previous experience as an Assistant Training Manager / or Training Manager as well as previous Middle east experience in a 4 /5 star hotel.
He/she will have track record of achieving guest and employee satisfaction. Will be creative, organised, with attention to detail with a critical eye. Ability to create training and business critical intervention tools.
Excellent knowledge of PC programmes - PowerPoint, excel, word, publisher is essential and so is fluency in written and spoken English.
Basic salary is USD 2500 - 2700 net + ex pat benefits.
